The Darmstadt tramway network forms part of the public transport system in Darmstadt, in the federal state of Hesse, Germany.
Opened in 1886, the network has been operated since 1912 by Hessische Eisenbahn-Aktiengesellschaft (HEAG) either directly, or, more recently, through one of its subsidiaries.
Lines
The central nodal point of the Darmstadt tramway network is the Luisenplatz. As of 2011[update], the network comprised the following lines:

All lines run – unless otherwise stated – at 15 minute intervals (evenings and Sunday mornings at 30 minute intervals). On the interurban line to Alsbach, service intervals are 30 minutes, reduced to 15 minute intervals for commuter traffic.
